The Voice Speaks…..Where are all the Heroes? 3/14/15

Hello O-Nation, take a moment and ask yourself one question: What is a hero?

The dictionary defines hero as a person, typically a man or a woman, who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements or noble qualities. Heroes can big or small, old or young, rich or poor, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that they are willing to go above and beyond the call of duty for the betterment of their fellow man. It seems like it was just a short time ago here at OSWA there were heroes everywhere we looked. Men and women who were willing to work hard and do whatever it takes to do the right thing and stand up for the greater good of the OSWA. Sadly now it seems those days are gone, along with most of the heroes. The question now is simple: Where have the heroes gone?

Sure, you have some still around like former Ultimate Champions, Chad Silva and Zach Daniels now teaming together as Completely Awesome. You also have veteran heroes like the former Corporate Champion, Johnnie Walker still fighting the good fight but three heroes are not enough to combat the plague of villains that are trying to take over the O. This doesn’t mean that all hope is lost. We have seen the rise of some of the younger heroes trying to grab the reigns and fight for the O-Nation like the new OSWA Tag Team Champions Will Kaution and Jaxon Carter. We have also seen the likes of Adrian Phillips and the returning Matt Develine standing up for what is right. With these heroes now stepping up the question still remains: Where are the rest of the heroes at OSWA?

One question was answered this past week as a returning Curtis Coleman back at 100% took on the Corporate Champion Mr. Hollywood and almost won the championship. The OSWA seemed to be turning towards the right direction as a new commissioner was appointed in Anthony Marinelli and he quickly added a breath of fresh, heroic air. However, minutes later OSWA would lose another hero after Mystic Storm would lose to the Ultimate Champion ( cough *Turncoat* cough) Jake Hughes and lose his contract with the OSWA in the process. With the villains gaining strength and more control, it seems the OSWA has new questions rising, such as: Who will stop the villains from completely taking over? Where is Goth Black? We haven’t seen him since his lost to the White Knight Sir Façade at NYKO. The biggest question on most people’s minds is simple: Where is Alpha McFly? Jake Hughes’ former tag-team partner is nowhere to be found. Why hasn’t he tried to get some sort of retribution on his former friend for turning on him? I don’t know the answers to all of these questions O-Nation but I have a bad feeling that Darker Days are going to come before we see an end to all of this.

I’m Michael Gentry, proud to be The Voice of The OSWA
